Our boutiques and our online stores operate separately. No online returns will be accepted in-store and no in-store returns will be accepted if shipped to our online store.
Our in-store policy is as follows;
All purchases made in-store are final, no refunds will be allowed for any in-store purchases. If you suspect that an item you’ve purchased is faulty, please bring it back in and we will try and replace it for you. We can facilitate an exchange or issue a Credit Note which is valid for 6 months from the date of issue, on full-priced BARIANO clothing purchased via Cash or EFTPOS. We do not take returns on ANY items that were purchased at a discount*, nor any accessories. This includes all jewellery, hats, undergarments, etc. We do not take any returns on items purchased using Afterpay.
*This does not include the new customer sign up discount.
We want you to feel beautiful in your new dress, so if it’s not 100% perfect, we’re here to help! Please reach out to email@example.com for any returns inquiries and submit you return form here and we will do our best to help. If you are eligible for a return, you will be issued an RA # (return authorisation number).
We will happily provide a web credit or exchange on full-priced clothing returned within 14 days of receiving your order.
Please note there is a $9.95 handling fee that is deducted from store credits.
To check if you’re eligible for a return authorisation, please refer to our table below. Return shipping costs will be incurred by the customer unless the garment is deemed faulty before return.

- All return requests are to be made via the Return manager, linked here.
- All eligible items must be returned within 14 days of receiving. You must lodge/present your item to the post office to start its return within 14 days of receiving it. Returns attempted outside of the returns period, (as per tracking details) will be denied and returned to the customer.
- The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.
- Items must be unworn and unwashed and free of any smells.
- Items must be free of any stains/markings e.g. Fake tan/Make-up.
- Items must have all tags, including any original hangtags attached.
- Items such as earrings, bodysuit and under-garments/intimates cannot be returned.
- Gift cards are non-returnable and non-refundable.
- Bariano will not be liable for losses during postage
- Bariano does not pay for postage of returned items or replacement items
*Discounts includes ALL purchases made using a discount coupon or credit note*
*Credit notes expire 1 calendar year from date of issue.
All returned items must; be in original condition, unworn, have tags attached, include a Returns Authority number, include a copy of (or) the original invoice.
We urge all customers to please place your garments in their plastic bag or paper wrapping before shipping back to ensure they arrive in acceptable condition.
Any parcels received without an RA# will be immediately returned to sender.
AFTERPAY AND SEZZLE
Cannot cancel payments on Afterpay or Sezzle, when returning an order, even if you have not paid you first instalment, as the total you order is now owed to this loan company, not Bariano.
We do not take cancellations on pre-orders. Pre-order dates are subject to change and may be updated at any time. If you’d like to return your pre-order item, the same terms and conditions apply as seen in the table above.
If you suspect an item has been delivered to you faulty, please get in contact with us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will endeavour to organise a replacement for you.
If you believe an item has been manufactured with a fault, please also get in contact with us and we will arrange a repair or replacement.
If we cannot organise a repair or replacement of the faulty garment, we will be happy to provide a refund for the faulty garment.
During this process, domestic shipping charges will be paid by Bariano.
Our online store may, at times be sending items direct from our retail stores. If the item you’ve purchased has been tried on or has any signs of wear, we will offer a substitute, partial refund, or entire refund for your order.
Our online store may be subject to stock discrepancies, if for some reason your order cannot be fulfilled we will offer a substitute or full refund for your order.
All of our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
This Policy is not intended to replace, limit or exclude any rights available to you under the Australian Consumer Law.
Please note that our warehouse is not open to the public and return parcels cannot be dropped off directly.
The colours of dresses displayed on our website may vary from monitor to monitor and the actual product you receive may or may not represent the colours you see on our website. External factors like lighting and flash may also affect the colour tone of the photo. If you are unsure about the true colour of the garment, please contact our online team at email@example.com. A refund for this return reason will not be accepted.
How to return your order:

3. Once you have submitted the return request, you will receive an email on how to send back to our returns team
4. Once received by returns team, your return will be processed within 2 business days. You will receive an email once completed.
Return Address Info: The return address will only be provided once your return request is 'Approved' & will be issued within the approval email sent by our returns team.
PLEASE NOTE: We will refuse to accept delivery on any items that have not been approved for return and they will be returned to sender.
