Return Policy


 If you're looking to return a faulty or incorrect item, please get in touch at so we can get this sorted for you.

At Bariano, if you’re not 100% happy with your item, you can return it for a web credit.

You can return any item in their original condition within 14 days of the date you received your order. 

The cost of returning your order is the responsibility of the customer.

We will gladly accept a return of full price, unworn, unwashed, unmarked, unaltered, and undamaged merchandise for a store credit only. 

Exchanges & Refunds

  • We do allow exchanges. You will be provided with a store credit to place your exchange order.
  • All returning items will be provided with a web-store credit only.
  • No refunds on incorrect sizing/change of mind/delivery delays. You will be issued with a store credit to re-order another item on this website.

Return Process & Conditions

  • All Return Requests are to be made via the Return Manager Box found at bottom of this page.
  • All eligible items must initiate return within 14 days of receipt. In other words, your must lodge/present your item to the post office to start its return within 14 days of receiving it. Returns attempted outside of the 14-days of the customer receiving the parcel (as per tracking details) will be denied and returned to customer. 
  • The customer is responsible for all return-shipping costs.
  • Items must be unworn and unwashed and free of any smells.
  • Items must be free of any stains/markings e.g. Fake tan/Make-up.
  • Items must have all tags, including any original hangtags attached.
  • Items such as, earrings, bodysuit and under-garments/intimates cannot be returned.
  • Gift cards are non-returnable and non-refundable.
  • Bariano will not be liable for losses during postage
  • Bariano does not pay for postage of returned items or replacement items


Items purchased at full price may be returned for a web credit provided that the Return Conditions are satisfied. Faulty item claims are dealt with on a case by case basis for refund, repair or replacement. 



Except if the item is faulty, Sale Items cannot be returned.

It is considered a Sale item when an item is:

(a)  marked at a discounted price;
(b)  purchased during a temporary promotion period (ie VIP Days, One Day sales, discount offers etc); or
(c)  purchased using a coupon or a promotional code;



We are happy to offer a return if an item purchased is deemed as faulty. 
Bring your return to your local store or send it back to us within a reasonable time with your proof of purchase. For the address to send it back to, please complete our online returns form here.

When we receive the item, it will be assessed by a senior team member and the Repairs Department (if required) and you will be notified of the outcome as to whether or not it is deemed as faulty in accordance with company policy and guidelines.

If the item is faulty, Bariano will offer to repair, replace or refund the value of the item plus delivery charges.

If you were informed the items were faulty at the time of the purchase, you will not be eligible to a return for the disclosed fault.

The process of assessment and repair may take up to 3 weeks from when the garment is received by the Repairs Department. If for any reason, it will take a longer period of time, the customer will be notified of this within the 3 week time frame. 

If the item has a major problem or cannot be repaired, you can choose a refund or exchange.  A major problem is when the item:

  • Has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying the item if they had known about it
  • Is unsafe
  • Is significantly different from the sample or description
  • Can’t be easily fixed

Alternatively, you can choose to keep the item and Bariano will compensate you for any drop in value.

Faulty item claims must be made within 3 months of purchase or within 1 week of first wear.

All of our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

This Policy is not intended to replace, limit or exclude any rights available to you under the Australian Consumer Law.

Please note that our warehouse is not open to the public and return parcels cannot be dropped off directly.



The colours of dresses displayed on our website may vary from monitor to monitor and the actual product you receive may or may not represent the colours you see on our website. External factors like lighting and flash may also affect the colour tone of the photo. If you are unsure about the true colour of the garment, please contact our online team at . A refund for this return reason will not be accepted.



How to use the Returns Manager Box below:

1. Enter the email address provided at time of placing the order in the Customer Email field.

2. Enter the Order Number provided to you e.g. #1001 in the Order Number field 

3. Once the required fields are entered are enter, select 'Lookup'. Then, simply click on the 'shopping trolley' symbol which is found beside 'Create Return'.

NOTE: Can't see the shopping trolley? This means your order is not valid for return as it is outside the return time window or is a sale item. If you think there has been a mistake, please contact us here.

4. A new window will open within the current window. You will then need to complete the required fields. Remember to scroll all the way down and tick to agreeing the Terms before you can submit your return request.

5. Once you have submitted the return request, it will redirect you to the returns page. 

6. Now, please be patient while our returns team review your return request to either be approved or denied. It can take up to 1 business day for your return request to be actioned.

Return Address Info: The return address will only be provided once your return request is 'Approved' & will be issued within the approval email sent by our returns team.

PLEASE NOTE: We will refuse to accept deliver on any items that have not been approved for return and they will be returned to sender.
