Returns Policy

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

INSTORE

Bariano will exchange or credit full priced items within 14 days of purchase. Provided the garment is original condition, unsoiled, unworn, all tags attached, with proof of specific purchase. Bariano does not offer changed of mind refunds.

Our products come with Consumer Guarantees that automatically apply under the Australian or New Zealand consumer Law.


In the event of an unexpected fault Bariano will provide a replacement or repair at no extra cost to the customer.


Final sale and outlet items are ineligible to be returned or exchanged due to change of mind.

ONLINE

We want you to feel beautiful in your new dress, so
if it’s not 100% perfect, we’re here to help! We offer credit note or
exchanges on all full-priced purchases, so you can wear the Bariano piece with

Our policy grants store credit if you return the item within 21 days of Order
Fulfilment. This applies in cases such as sizing or fit issues, quality
concerns, changes of mind, or event cancellations. All online credits
are exclusive to online orders only and cannot be used
in store
. Online credits are valid for 12 months, if you need any
assistance with this, please reach out to online@bariano.com.au

Return shipping costs will be incurred by the
customer unless the garment is deemed faulty before return. To inquire about
faulty eligibility, please email a photo to online@bariano.com.au and not our returns portal.

Please note that exchanges are only sent out once
the garment has arrived and been processed by our customer service
team. This is checked daily and we work to issue and send out exchanges as
soon as possible. If you need to receive your exchange earlier, please
email online@bariano.com.au.

WHAT IS AN ONLINE STORE CREDIT?

A store credit is a coupon code which can be used exclusively on bariano.com.au. All store credits will expire after 1 calendar year from the date of issue.

Store credits:

  • Cannot be transferred to another person or account.
  • Cannot be purchased.
  • Is issued as a refund method when a previously purchased item has been returned.
  • Any purchase amounts that exceed the value of the store credit will require additional payment for the remaining balance due.
  • Is provided in Australian Dollars.

RETURN CONDITIONS

  • All general return requests (unless the item is faulty) are to be made via the Return Manager, linked HERE.

  • All eligible items must be returned within 21 days of Order Fulfilment. You must lodge your return via our Return Manager and present it to the post office within 21 days since the day your order is fulfilled. Returns attempted outside of the returns period will be denied and returned to the customer. Ex: if you received an email saying that your order has been fulfilled on 1/4, then the last date for you to lodge your return online is 22/4.

  • Items must be unworn, unwashed, free of any smells and in the condition of the initial item. Items must be free of any stains/markings e.g. Fake tan/Make-up. We urge all customers to please place your garments in their plastic bag or paper wrapping before shipping back to ensure they arrive in acceptable condition.

  • Items must have all tags, including any original hangtags attached.

  • Do not include any return postage bags inside your returned parcel. These will not be used by our returns team and the cost of the postage bags will not be refunded by Bariano.

  • Gift cards are non-returnable and non-refundable. If you have any issues using your gift card, please email online@bariano.com.au

  • The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.

  • Bariano will not be liable for losses during postage.

  • Bariano does not pay for postage of returned items or replacement items.

* Please note that our warehouse is not open to the public and return parcels cannot be dropped off directly.

WHAT IF I RECEIVED A FAULTY ITEM?

If you suspect an item has been delivered to you faulty, please get in contact with us at online@bariano.com.au and we will endeavour to organise a replacement for you. This request must be made within 21 days of your order fulfilment

If you believe an item has been manufactured with a fault, please also get in contact with us and we will arrange a repair or replacement.

If we cannot organise a repair or replacement of the faulty garment, we will be happy to provide a refund for the faulty garment.

During this process, domestic shipping charges will be paid by Bariano.

How to return your order

1. Enter you account email address and order number into the Returns Manager HERE

2. Please follow the prompts from here

3. Once you have submitted the return request, you will receive a digital return label to download and an instruction on how to return the package. If you do not have a printer, please save the label to your phone/tablet and present it to the post office so they can print the label for you.

4. Once received by our returns team, your return will be processed within 3 business days. You will receive an email once completed.

PLEASE NOTE: We will refuse any items that have been manually returned without approval from Return manager or a valid reason to do so.

OTHER INFO

CONSUMER GUARANTEES

All of our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

This Policy is not intended to replace, limit or exclude any rights available to you under the Australian Consumer Law.

COLOURS

The colours of dresses displayed on our website may vary from monitor to monitor and the actual product you receive may or may not represent the colours you see on our website. External factors like lighting and flash may also affect the colour tone of the photo. If you are unsure about the true colour of the garment, please contact our online team at online@bariano.com.au. A refund for this return reason will not be accepted.

AFTERPAY & SEZZLE

Cannot cancel payments on Afterpay or Sezzle, when returning an order, even if you have not paid you first instalment, as the total you order is now owed to this loan company, not Bariano. 

PRE-ORDERS

We do not take cancellations on pre-orders. Pre-order dates are subject to change and may be updated at any time. If you’d like to return your pre-order item, the same terms and conditions apply as seen in the table above.

INVENTORY

Our online store may, at times be sending items direct from our retail stores. If the item you’ve purchased has been tried on or has any signs of wear, we will offer a substitute, partial refund, or entire refund for your order.

Our online store may be subject to stock discrepancies, if for some reason your order cannot be fulfilled we will offer a substitute or full refund for your order.
